Very Impressive REDS Victory over the Phillies 7-3

What absolute outstanding win The Reds had tonight over the Philadelphia Phillie’s. It starts where it has start all year for the REDS with the Starting pitching. Johnny Cueto Pitched 8 strong innings giving up only 1 Earned run and walking only 2. Even though there were no strike outs tonight for Johnny he showed championship caliber pitching his way out of several Jams tonight. The offense also flexed its muscles after 3 scoreless innings Scott Rolen Hit a run Home Run (300th of his Carrier) to open things up 2-0. Rolen was 1-2 on the night with a Sac-Fly RBI later in the game. The rest of the Runs were share through the rest line up. Welcome back Orlando Cabera who was 3 for 4 tonight with and RBI, same story for Votto as well. Hernandez was 1 for 3 with an RBI and Chris Heisey off the bench with a Sac-Fly RBI. Despite a 2 run home run given up in the return of Bill Bray in the bottom of the ninth it was an impressive win for the Reds with the final score of 7-3. Not only was this an impressive win but a great way to start a marathon 14 game nonstop set for the REDS. The First Place Reds will look to get 10 Games over .500 tomorrow when they take on the Phillie’s in game 2 of the series. As I type this article the Ariz. are up 3-2 over St. Louis so GO DBACKS!!!!
